About us

For over 35 years, Keyturn Training has been helping organisations unlock their potential through powerful, people-focused leadership and management development.

Who we are

Keyturn was founded in 1990 by Phil and David Maggs with a clear mission: to deliver training that’s practical, personal, and transformational. Over the years we've grown into a trusted partner for clients across a wide range of sectors.

Today, our Managing Director Brian Trott brings over 30 years expertise in L&D and hands-on management experience. Under his guidance, Keyturn blends proven methodologies with flexible, relevant learning approaches. Non-executive Director Cheryl Shepherd provides ongoing support and reference particularly in areas relating to psychology and mental health as well as delivering programmes herself.

Commitment to Results - Four people having a discussion around a conference table in an office conference room.
  • Results are the hallmark of success in today’s markets, and that’s exactly what you can expect from Keyturn. Our commitment to achieving results is driven by a desire and a determination to get things right for you, each step of the way.

Defining required results is the single most important criteria in ensuring learning and development is focused on achievement – right from the beginning.

When you entrust Keyturn to carry out learning and development on your behalf, preparatory steps will form an integral and vital part of the successful completion of your programme. Keyturn’s team will work closely with your in-house management team to help you define and achieve results in the way you want to achieve them.

We take responsibility to facilitate a thorough process, ensuring alignment of organisational and individual expectations and a learning programme focused on achieving relevant results.

    Delivering Visible Results

Keyturn’s market-leading, unique learning-application tools and methods, guarantee you visible and measurable results from your investment.

Working with you, Keyturn design practical learning-application options as an automatic part of your learning and development programme. We then take responsibility to ensure participants demonstrate how they have used what they have learnt in their day-to-day work. It is only on satisfactory demonstration of this that we send a ‘Certificate of Achievement’. The programme is only a success when learning has been integrated into the workplace, contributing to the development of your business. This is our commitment to you!
